For over 50 years, the Unger family has served Manitobans for their window dressing needs. Started in 1974 by Henry & Margaret Unger as Margaret’s Draperies. Fifteen years later Randy & Heather Unger took over, the business grew from being a small business attached to the home to Manitoba’s largest Hunter Douglas dealer. Shortly after Blaine Unger joined the family biz in 2017, they became a Hunter Douglas Gallery™ store, the highest achievement attainable. In January 2025 the business was purchased by Jeremy and Sarah Kuhl. They are long time friends of the Unger family and continue to work closely with them to ensure the continued growth and success of Advance Blinds and Drapery.
